Fall into Botanical Printing

$160.00

It’s Fall! Let’s dive into some botanical printing!

Fall (& late summer) is the best times to collect leaves for this technique. I will begin collecting materials in August and you are welcome to bring some too! I will email those registered ahead of time with more information on this in September.
We did this before as an added activity to one of my studio workshops and many have requested this as a full two day workshop. Here it is!

This is so much fun and is very experimental. I will also have a light indigo vat to combine some of the prints with overdyed indigo.

This is great fun to use with indigo dyed moons.

Let’s do it!

All materials will be provided, just bring yourself, your curiosity and wonder, and let’s dye some botanical prints!

When: October 24th & 25th
(Saturday and Sunday) 11:00 AM -4:00PM
Where: Nichiren Shu Buddhist Temple, 2801 East 4th Street, Los Angeles

Parking is free and enclosed on the back of the temple. (turn right off of Fourth Street on Sarasota and the first right again to access the parking lot)

Bring a snack or lunch with you. If Beverly decides to do bento again for us I will send a separate email to those who sign up in early mid August.
