Collected on my recent trip to Japan and hand dyed with indigo in my California studio, these diaphanous scarves are mostly silk. I love the textural and transparent nature of them. Where materials are mixed (usually cotton or rayon) it allows a variance of indigo shades.
Fun to wear with a simple shirt and jeans- lightweight and summery!
This style is indigo ombre dyed edge to edge lengthwise. Both the warp and the weft utilize cotton and silk creating a cross-hatched patterning. 72” x 21”
