Edge to Edge

72.00

Collected on my recent trip to Japan and hand dyed with indigo in my California studio, these diaphanous scarves are mostly silk. I love the textural and transparent nature of them. Where materials are mixed (usually cotton or rayon) it allows a variance of indigo shades.
Fun to wear with a simple shirt and jeans- lightweight and summery!

This style is dyed in two indigo shades, edge to edge, from light to dark. Textural elements are rayon and cotton woven in between the silk filaments. Rayon element is weft woven eyelash yarn mixed into the filament silk. Silk warp has grouped cotton threads for textural emphasis. 18” x 72”
